Deleting Temporary Internet Files

Sometimes you may be asked to review updated web pages that do not appear to have changed since you last viewed them. This is most likely because the old version has been stored on your computer and you are viewing this version. The old version is stored in a folder called the Temporary Internet Files folder.

The Temporary Internet Files folder is the location on your hard disk where Web pages and files (such as graphics) are stored as you view them. This speeds up the display of pages you frequently visit or have already seen, because Internet Explorer can open them from your hard disk instead of from the Web.
